LaNette is currently enrolled in the Academy for Dog Trainers and is earning her National Certification as a Pet Dog Trainer. LaNette is also a member of the Association for Pet Dog Trainers. Committed to providing the most convenient, effective and humane solutions for her clients, LaNette attends several seminars and continuing education workshops every year. When not working with clients, you can find LaNette biking, hiking and running with her three dogs.
Mod Dawg puts clients first by providing convenient training at clients’ homes, customized training plans for each owner’s needs and quick results that are easy for clients to maintain. We are excited to work with you and your dog to help make your lives with each other that much better.
As with many dog owners, we have a dog (and several if we’re lucky) that strikes a cord and changes us as humans. For LaNette that dog is Bozwell, an Alaskan Malamute/Siberian Husky cross. He is stubborn, obstinate, full of personality and a joy to be around (most of the time!). LaNette adopted Bozwell when he was five months old (he’s eleven now). Bozwell had separation anxiety, fear, dog aggression, was an escape artist and chased everything including, neighborhood cats.
Today, thanks to dog training, Bozwell is a happy dog. He enjoyed an active life of hiking, biking, skiing, and camping with LaNette and now enjoys slow walks, short hikes, and mentoring his newest sibling. Dog training made it possible for LaNette and Bozwell to enjoy this lifestyle. Bozwell is the mascot for Mod Dawg because he shows us that anything is possible!
